Start The Week With Di-Walthamstow Wetlands let's Explore

Lovely walk around the reservoirs of Walthamstow Wetlands. There is on site parking, pay and display, the nearest stations are at Tottenham Hale, overground, or underground (Victoria line) or Blackhorse Station. 11:00 meet in the on-site café The Engine Room to chat and introduce ourselves, lovely menu, cooked breakfasts available!!

11:30 A look at the Visitors' Centre there is a viewing platform with information panels. Then an invigorating morning walk, which will explore three of the many reservoirs to hopefully see the visiting wildlife, bring a camera and binoculars.

I will book the Ferry Boat Inn for a typical pub lunch and after lunch depending on the weather and our energy levels we set off again to tackle a second walk in another part of the complex or make for home!

If we walk again we can return to the pub or the on-site café for a drink before making our way home.

There will be a £5 charge for the meet up, cash on the day, please change your rsvp should you need to cancel please note the walk will go ahead as a wet weather walk ending at lunchtime.
