The 3 highest Peaks in Lewisham- The Ladywell Circular

Come with me and explore the circular green walk that takes you on a journey, through time to the hills of Hilly Fields {49m above sea level}

Walking distance is 5 miles.

If you want to find out some history within the borough of Lewisham, this is one not to miss, and you will not be disappointed.

And during this walk I will be giving you facts of what you will be seeing.

The walk will start at Le Delice Boulangerie which is next to Ladywell Station, we will meet at La Delice for coffee at 10.30am.

After coffee we will start this fantastic walk where I will show you many historical buildings of Lewisham, we will be doing a lot of hill climbing and it is advisable that if you walk slow or find it not easy climbing hills do not RSVP for this walk.

It is advisable also to wear boots as if has been raining the day before some of the river paths can get quite muddy. During the course of our walk we will see a play tower and a water tower, we will see old churches, we will walk through 2 cemeteries, see the millennium stone circle and the fantastic views we will have from each of the 3 peaks.

Time will be allowed to take photographs.

Please bring along a packed lunch as we will be having lunch on One Tree Hill, { if the weather is dull or wet, we will use a local cafe} and the walk will end up at the Ladywell Tavern where we will stop for a well earned drink, with Ladywell Station being less than 1 minute away.

Trains run from London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross, and you can travel from Victoria to Ladywell, changing at Lewisham Station.

There will be plenty of time to take photographs, and the walk will be at a medium pace.

If you walk slow or have a knee problem, this walk is not for you.
