Historian Paul Sinclair takes a stroll Tower Bridge to London Bridge

Historian Paul Sinclair takes a stroll Tower Bridge to London Bridge

We'll take in the well where King Olaf rallied his troops before the Battle of London Bridge just over a thousand years ago, the oldest livery hall in London, the site of a great joust fought after a nation's honour was demeaned, where the queen was pelted with all manner of projectiles, the remains of the medieval bridge, talk of ice fairs and much more. A legendary bridge with so many stories.

We meet in the Citizen M hotel at 10.45 and set off at 11.15, lunch to follow at 1.30.

My number is 07815009191 and the first stop is St Olave's Church, Hart Street.
