This is a pleasant easy riverside stroll along one of the prettiest stretches of the Thames Path. It follows long arcs of the river giving sweeping stunning views. On the way we will pass some grand historical houses and see plenty of riverside activity and wildlife. We will set off from Richmond Station and stop for refreshments before heading towards the river-side.
On joining the Thames Path we will pass Petersham Meadows where the Belted Heritage Cows graze. Shortly we will come to Teddington Lock, with its two elegant Victorian footbridges, scenic views and rushing waters of the weir. We will cross the footbridge and take lunch at the Anglers Pub, with its wonderful views.

The final section of this river-side walk will leads us into Canbury Gardens with its atmospheric riverside park, bandstand, open lawns and tree lined footpaths.
Finally we will enter the Medieval Market Town of Kingston, before reaching the station.
