Shepperton to Hampton Court exploring the Thames Path {walking dist 6.5 miles}

Come with with me, on a lovely walk exploring the Thames from Walton Bridge to Hampton Court Bridge and seeing some amazing sights.

We will meet outside Shepperton Station at 11am { you will need to buy a rail ticket from Hampton Rail Station which is in zone 6 to Shepperton Rail Station, cost £3.80 if you have a 60's or freedom pass or oyster card, or £2.50 if you have a senior rail card}

From Shepperton Railway Station we will walk through Shepperton Village to The Red Lion Pub for a hot drink.

After our hot drink we will walk to Walton Bridge where we will begin our walk along The River Thames.

We will see Sunbury Weir and lots of boat houses and wildlife along the route.

Please bring a packed lunch with you ,as there are no cafes till near the end of the walk.

Our walk will end at Hampton Court Bridge where we will stop for a drink, and for those that feel energetic we could walk an extra 3.5 miles to Kingston Bridge but this is optional.

For those that do not Hampton Court Station {zone 6} is a few minutes walk away.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is not for you.

Time will be allowed to take photographs and it is advised to wear walking boots as parts of the tow path, can get muddy.

Please note,

We will be following COV'D 19 procedures, so please ensure you have a mask and hand gel with you, and if you are feeling unwell do not turn up.
Social distancing will be on this walk.

If you sign up and do not turn up, without informing me, do not sign up for any more of my walks, as you will be taken off.
