Ye Olde City of London - walk the Square Mile with Blue Badge guide Laurence

A walk of surprising contrasts with qualified Blue Badge guide Laurence

Meet 11-11.15 Monument tube station, Fish Street Hill entrance. There are cafes nearby with toilets. At the end we can grab a snack and drink somewhere for those who wish to continue socialising.

This is where it all began! It was nearly 2000 years ago that the Romans came and developed what they called 'Londinium' and it is now the richest square mile in the world, full of iconic buildings such as St Pauls Cathedral, the Bank of England and the Monument .

Want to see where the Great Fire of London started? Want to see where some of Harry Potter was filmed? Want to see London's first coffee shop? Want to see where the remains of the Roman Amphitheatre was finally discovered? Then come with me and i'll satisfy those wants!

Guided walk £10 - payable on the day
