4 days Saltaire UNESCO, Hebden Bridge, Halifax, Haworth (Bronte sisters)

Direct train leaving London Kings Cross 10.57
13.46 Arrival by train from London. Anne and I will meet you at the station and walk back to the Accommodation, Croft Mill, Hebden Bridge.

We have 6 x 2 bed converted apartments and we will each have our own bedroom - non sharing.
We'll relax in the Mill, have some sandwiches, tea / coffee or something stronger after the journey!!!
14.00 The rooms will be ready for us to unpack.
15.00 - 17.00 Stroll around Hebden Bridge - with Dee and Anne
18.30 Prosecco before we go to supper!
18.45 Supper together, to include drinks in Hebden Bridge. 

Tuesday 4TH OCTOBER

10.30 After breakfast, transport to HALIFAX.
Guided tour of Halifax to see the Minster and the famous PIECE HALL
Afternoon visit to Shibden Hall, home to Anne Lister and backdrop for the series Gentleman Jack. Part II has just come out!
For those who fancy, walk through grounds back to station…beautiful views over Halifax.
Evening together - (supper not included)

Wednesday 5th October

10.45 After breakfast, 40 minute trip to Saltaire, UNESCO site.
Depending on the weather, 3 mile walk along the canal to Bingley 5 locks where there is a lovely tea room - Pick up in taxi for return to Hebden Bridge.
For those who do not wish to do the full walk, there are pubs for a stop-over along the peaceful and beautiful canal walk!
17.00 Return to Hebden Bridge
Supper (not included)
Games with Anne. Night cap included.....

Thursday 6th October
We will be going to visit Haworth, home to the Bronte sisters and stroll up on the Moors as well as visit the Parsonage where the Bronte sisters grew up.
