Southern Snowdonia - Cadair Idris, the Rhinogs and Nantlle Ridge

A fantastic opportunity to explore the southernmost peak in Snowdonia, Cadair Idris. Stunning views on the circular route that we will take, will live with you for a long time indeed. As usual I will share the full details of our walking routes once you are committed. We will also explore the rugged hills and valleys behind the seaside town of Barmouth. Rhinog Fawr and Rhnog Fach, possibly extending our travels to take in the Nantlle Ridge. The coastal scenery is spectacular with numerous more gentle options if the weather turns against us.

Mid-Week with Di - Fish & Chips at and Leigh-on-Sea to Southend-on-Sea Walk

The Peterboat

12:15 meet at The Peterboat for lunch, nearest station is Leigh-on-Sea on the Fenchurch St line.

1:15 walk along the coastal path to Southend-on-Sea taking in the kiss me quick hats and a Rossi ice cream.

We will end the walk at The Park Inn well earned drink before returning to London from Southend Central or Southend Victoria stations.

£5 charge for the meet up, please change your rsvp if you cannot come to avoid us waiting for you. It will go ahead whatever the weather.

Join me a on a walk from Wapping High St - We will meet in Urban Barista at 10.45am which is just outside the station - turn right and it's 2 doors down. A local guide will be with me, giving you some history on the area.

We'll leave promptly at 11.15 am and walk towards the Prospect of Whitby, along Wapping High St.

We will be walking stages 6 & 7 of the London Loop and it is an enjoyable walk.

City of London - fascinating stories from the past

This is a repeat of the 20th July walk.

We will take a leisurely walk through the City. There will be far fewer people and traffic than during the week.

We will discover a 'romantic' tree, London's first drinking fountain, a king's buried head and the oldest Catholic church with beautiful stained glass windows. All this and a lot more.
