Open Art Folke in Folkestone

This is a new meet up and well worth attending if able, as we look at different types of Art in Folkestone.

{Open Art Folke is a community of 200+ artists and makers in Folkestone. Since 2024, we've run an open house-style festival to keep the creative energy alive, welcome people into our studios, and take over public spaces to share what we've been making.}

Come with me on an enjoyable walk from Folkestone Central to the Harbour and back.
We will meet outside Folkestone Central Station at 11.00 am,

We will then make our way to the Burlington Hotel for a hot drink, after our hot drink we will make our way to the Harbour going down the Zig Zag Path {as image shown.}

Lunch will be in The Harbour Inn which needs to be booked {please advise if you want lunch} or you can bring your own.

After lunch we will some of the places where the art is and will be an ideal time to buy Christmas presents.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this meetup is not for you.

Tickets
Fo those travelling on South Eastern Trains, you can get the 9.13 from London Bridge, but if you have a 60+ oyster card or a freedom pass, your card will take you to Knockholt, where the train goes through.

You can buy your ticket from any train station, starting from Knockholt for the 9.20 am train, as you will save money, and you can use your senior rail card, which makes it even cheaper.
