Eastbourne Circular via Beechy Head

This is a new walk, and if you have a knee problem or walk slow, this walk is not for you.

It is also recommended to bring walking poles if you have them

We will meet at Eastbourne Train Station by WH Smith, at 11.30 am.

Then we will get a bus to East Dean, and have lunch in The Tiger Inn or bring our own.

After lunch we walk to The Birling Gap and begin our climb to Beechy Head 

Once we have reached Beechy Head, we will then walk to the bus stop and go back to Eastbourne and have a drink in a local pub.

The views are amazing on this walk, and if you are able it is recommended you do it.

Travel

It is recommended you get the 9.54 am train from Victoria or 10.10 am train from East Croydon to Eastbourne arriving 11.17 am.

When buying your ticket get it from East Croydon cost with a senior railcard £23.30.
