A COLOURFUL LOOK AT A PEOPLE WHO LEFT AN INDELIBLE MARK ON LONDON
---
DESCRIPTION
This is a presentation centred around one of London's most buzzing and character-filled areas and one that has often been the landing place for immigrants new to the city. I will show you one of the oldest synagogues in Europe, a beautiful soup kitchen, a sculpture that should melt your hearts and introduce you to a variety of colourful characters - if I'm in the mood I may even sing but don't let that put you off!
YOUR HOST IS LAURENCE SUMMERS
Laurence Summers is a Blue Badge guide and has been guiding tours since 2004, when he began working for one of London's major open top bus companies, which sparked his interest in London's rich history. Since then he has led groups of all sizes, ages and and cultures all over London and the UK.
