DESCRIPTION
We have already enjoyed seeing many of the famous artworks of Folkestone but now a whole set more have popped up to mark the latest triennial art festival………. so how about we take another day trip to the seaside to discover them??
I have secured the services of our expert and entertaining local guide to meet us and walk and talk us through a fun trail revealing the best of them as we mosey our way from the station through the town, stopping en route for a bite of lunch at one of Folkestone’s famous cafés.
We are planning to take the 10.37 train from St Pancras to Folkestone Central (only 52 minutes!). The return train is your choice however I would suggest we will not be finished before 6pm and would advice purchasing a flexible 'Super Off-Peak Day Return' - it is not necessary to book this far in advance. It is also possible to join the train from Stratford International.
Cost £22.50 per person
Price includes: Guide and MeetUp fees

MEET INSTRUCTIONS
The platforms for Folkestone are usually 11-13 so I suggest we meet outside the ticket gates at around 10.15 for our train at 10.37.
Platforms 11-13: South Eastern Trains platforms for domestic high-speed domestic trains to Kent - Folkestone & Dover. Located on the upper level, accessed by escalators and lifts from the lower level, then through a row of ticket gates.
You could also join the same train from Stratford International at 10.43 (we will be in the 2nd carriage from the front)
