Bold and Bohemian-Bloomsbury tour with Blue Badge guide Laurence
Join me for a walking tour of one of London's most eclectic areas.
Meet Goodge Street Underground Station @ 11am - 11.15
A beautiful area, underrated and not to be missed!
Known for its literary connections, Bloomsbury also has links to the aristocracy, medicine and politics. Throw in glorious architecture and gorgeous garden squares and it makes for a feast for the senses. Where else would you find the Bloomsbury Group, the inventor of Pfizer, George Orwell and Kenneth Williams - 'Ooh matron!' And, oh yes, there's also the missing queen......................
We finish by Russell Square, close to a great pub and lots of cafes, where I, for one , will be partaking. Feel free to join me!
It is imperative that you let me know if you cant come as I will wait till 11.15 for anyone whose name is on the list and if they do not turn up it isn't fair on the group for them to hang around if those attending are all there and ready to go
Guided walk £10 - payable on the day
