CHINATOWN – A SPECIALIST GUIDED WALKING TOUR AND LUNCH – with Lits

Chinatown is one of my favourite parts of London. It has a great vibe and is a scintillating place for wandering, wondering and finding fascinating food.
Three years ago I guided a ‘food safari’ around the hustle and bustle of these exciting Asian establishments. There have been changes since. For obvious reasons it was one of the first places to be hit hard at the outset of the pandemic and I recall the deserted streets and empty restaurants. Fortunately it is bouncing back and, to learn more, I
have commissioned a member of the Chinese Community there to guide us around their territory for an insight into the happenings.
Our expert guided walk will last for approximately 90 minutes after which we will adjourn to one of the local Chinese restaurants to enjoy a lunch together.
Cost: £37.50 per person
(includes MeetUp fee, guided walking tour and lunch).
Lunch will be a set meal of soup, six dishes, rice and fruit served with tea. The dishes will be served family-style for everyone to share and enjoy.
Most dietary requirements can be accommodated – please advise in advance if you have any specific requirements.
Additional drinks can be purchased and settled individually (cash please).
The Meeting Point will be in Chinatown – the exact location will be confirmed a little nearer the time.
