The Sounds of the 60s and 70s Jean

The Sounds of the 60s and 70s Jean

Another chance to attend this popular event.

We will be exploring the Soho area and the history of popular music during the 1960s and the 1970s.

We'll see the place where a young keyboard player got his first break in 1965 and later went on to be one of the biggest stars of the 1970s. We will visit the location where an iconic group first met and got their name as well as the place where one of the most well known album covers was photographed. We'll also see the venue where the number one self-taught guitarist played his last gig and died two days later.

How to find us

Tottenham Court Road tube - take Exit 3 (New Oxford Street). Starbucks is opposite to the right (next to Halifax). We will be upstairs.

All this and a lot more! Everyone welcome - new faces and old faces alike.
