Virtual Cafe - Travel social evening hosted by John

WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL CAFE?
A virtual space to have a chat with other Not Grumpies about a particular topic, via your computer (audio and video). Don't forget to grab a cuppa before you join!

WHAT'S THE TOPIC OF THE DAY?
John will kick things of with some thoughts about a favourite travel destination.

HOW WILL THE CAFE WORK?
Your Zoom host will admit you into the main room, where we can have a quick chat whilst we wait for late arrivals. At 6:40pm, John will begin his introduction, lasting 5-10 minutes. All attendees will be muted.

At the end of the introduction, there may be an opportunity to ask questions; attendees will be unmuted one-by-one to do so.

After questions, you will be allocated to virtual "tables" of between 3-5 people, where you can take it in turns to introduce yourselves to each other, then share your own anecdotes and holiday memories.

A few minutes before the end, the host will bring everyone together and mute everyone again for closing announcements, questions and/or suggestions.

WHEN SHOULD I JOIN?
Please join as promptly as possible in order to hear John's introduction. However, late comers are still welcome and will be added to a table.

Joining via the computer is free.

We are hoping to keep these virtual Cafes/Bar events going as much as we can because we know they have brought some light relief to what is going on externally. But as you can imagine, 45+ Not Grumpy still has many admin fees to pay!
