Virtual Wine Bar with Lits – A Taste of Languedoc Lits

With your glass of wine (preferably from the Languedoc?!) at the ready, Lits will lead us on a journey exploring the wines of the Languedoc in Southern France. Hosting a fun and interesting discussion on a region that was once the main source of the European wine lake and is now a region in revolution - let's share our experiences, preferences and travel stories

WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL WINE BAR?

A virtual space to have a chat with other Not Grumpies about a particular topic. Don't forget to grab a glass before you join!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It is free but we do suggest a donation of £5, if possible.
This is not compulsory at all, however we would be most grateful for any amount you can afford as the proceeds will be being donated to Age UK who have acute problems to deal with at the moment.

HOW WILL IT WORK?

Your Zoom host will admit you into the main room, where we can have a quick chat whilst we wait for late arrivals.
At 6:40pm, Lits will begin his introduction, lasting 10-15 minutes. All attendees will be muted.

At the end of the introduction, there may be an opportunity to ask questions; attendees will be unmuted one-by-one to do so.

After questions, you will be allocated to virtual "tables" of between 5-7 people, where you can take it in turns to introduce yourselves to each other, then share your own wine tales and experiences

A few minutes before the end, the host will bring everyone together and mute everyone again for closing announcements, questions and/or suggestions.

WHEN SHOULD I JOIN?

Please join as promptly as possible in order to hear Lits's introduction. However, latecomers are still welcome and will be added to a table.
