UK Wine an exciting time - Virtual Wine Bar event with Lits for charity

This is a ground breaking time for Grape Britannia…….!
The UK wine industry is on the crest of a wave and the French are looking over their shoulders - with your glass of wine (preferably English!) at the ready Lits will lead us through a look on this amazing turnaround.

A few of the suggested wines you may like to taste are listed in the comments section below.

WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL WINE BAR?
A virtual space to have a chat with other Not Grumpies about the particular topic and to share our experiences, preferences & adventures.
Please don't forget to grab a glass before you join!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It is free but we do suggest a donation of £5, if possible.
This is not compulsory at all, however we would be most grateful for any amount you can afford as the proceeds will be being donated to Age UK who have acute problems to deal with at the moment.

HOW WILL IT WORK?
Your Zoom host will admit you into the main room, where we can have a quick chat whilst we wait for late arrivals.
At 6:40pm, Lits will begin his introduction, lasting approximately 20 minutes. All attendees will be muted.

At the end of the introduction, there may be an opportunity to ask questions; attendees will be unmuted one-by-one to do so.

After questions, you will be allocated to virtual "tables" of between 5-7 people, where you can take it in turns to introduce yourselves to each other, then share your own wine tales and experiences. Lits will move between each room, enabling a chance to chat with you all.

A few minutes before the end, the host will bring everyone together and mute everyone again for closing announcements, questions and/or suggestions.

WHEN SHOULD I JOIN?
Please join as promptly as possible in order to hear Lits's introduction. However, latecomers are still welcome and will be added to a table.
