WHAT'S THE TOPIC OF THE DAY?
Join me Saturday evening for a fun cooking session to create a simple
but tasty vegan dinner!
Whether you're simply curious about this ever-increasing food trend,
or have been a die-hard vegan for years, I'll take you through the
process of making a vegan meal and make it digestible and easy to
follow. Questions encouraged!
Turn up with a glass of tipple* and natter with fellow Not Grumpies, or
jump in and cook alongside me as you prefer. I'll send you an
ingredients list before our session.

To introduce; my name is Alfie, and I'm a chef who focuses on
Veganism. For anyone new to the concept, a vegan diet consists of not
consuming anything that comes from an animal, from fashion right the
way to food. This can make it a challenge for people to be inventive
and cook this diet at home. But over the forthcoming sessions we'll
explore a range of meals, from quick-n'-easy through to making one's
own tasty meat substitutes from scratch.

HOW WILL THE CAFE WORK?

Your Zoom host (Anne and Alise) will admit you into the main room, where we can have a quick chat whilst we wait for late arrivals. At 7.10pm, Alfie will start the evening. All attendees will be muted.

At the end of the introduction, there will be an opportunity to ask questions; attendees will be unmuted one-by-one to do so.

HOW DO I JOIN BY COMPUTER (video and/or audio)?

If you have the Zoom Application downloaded already, the Application should open and take you straight to the Virtual Cafe. If not, you'll be presented with the option to download the Zoom Application for the first time (better if you want to join quicker next time), or else skip the download and "join from your browser" (better if you're in a rush and don't want to fiddle with downloads this time).

2. When you join, you'll be placed in a Waiting Room and will need to wait for the host to admit you.

HOW DO I LEAVE?

You can leave whenever you like by hanging up the phone, or clicking "Leave Meeting". However, please do say goodbye to the people you've been speaking to.
