WHAT'S THE TOPIC OF THE DAY? MALAYSIA

John will kick things of with some thoughts about a favourite travel destination. Today I will introduce Malaysia, a diverse country spread over the Malay Peninsular and the island of Borneo. Following my talk, attendees will be encouraged to share their own travel anecdotes and holiday memories in smaller groups of 5-6 people.

HOW WILL THE CAFE WORK?

Your Zoom host will admit you into the main room, where we can have a quick chat whilst we wait for late arrivals. At 6:40pm, John will begin his introduction, lasting 10 minutes. All attendees will be muted.

At the end of the introduction, there may be an opportunity to ask questions; attendees will be unmuted one-by-one to do so.

After questions, you will be allocated to virtual "tables" of between 5-6 people, where you can take it in turns to introduce yourselves to each other, then share your own anecdotes and holiday memories.

A few minutes before the end, the host will bring everyone together and mute everyone again for closing announcements, questions and/or suggestions.
