Fun History virtual evening on the FINSBURY area with Historian Paul 18.30

Zoom Link

Paul Sinclair, 45+ Not Grumpy historian will be taking us around the London Bridge area of London

Finsbury Area

The far north of the city where people on the margins lived: writers, dissenters, the poor and dealers in dodgy goods. We’ll visit the fields just outside the city wall: Moor Field, Smithfield and Finsbury Field, and talk about the fun had there. We’ll see the market where you could trade if you fell out with the Livery companies, one of London’s oldest churches and some of the few remains of its city walls.

As you all know, Paul is a fun, interesting and knowledgeable raconteur. He'll be presenting for around 40 minutes London, supported by illustrations and photographs.

At about 19.15, Paul will ask for questions and we will have time to chat with him before the session ends.

WHEN SHOULD I JOIN?

Please join as promptly as possible from about 6.25 so Paul can make a prompt start at 6.35. However, latecomers are still welcome
