Constable's SALISBURY, 3 days, 2 nights

Train  leaves Waterloo  11.20   arr.Salisbury  12.43

Ill meet you at the station with a taxi to take you to the hotel for a light lunch of sandwiches, scones etc tea/coffee

Each will have a double ensuite with breakfast in the 4* hotel, Red Lion, the oldest hotel in Salisbury which has recently been refurbished.

15.30 - 17.00  Guided tour around the city where we see the world's oldest working clock, original copy of the Magna Carta, Britain's tallest cathedral spire, cobbled streets and so much more...

Wednesday 7th July

Walk along the river to see where Constable painted his famous painting with Salisbury in the background

Afternoon free 

Evening meal together included and social afterwards

Thursday 8th

After breakfast join me in a walk up to Old Sarum which was the original site of what is now Salisbury.  

4 miles return

Afternoon free to enjoy the city

Deposit is £25 and it is your responsibility to find someone to take your place should you not be able to go.
