Nothing heralds springtime like the spectacular sight of a blanket of tulip fields; so let’s hop on Eurostar to Holland to see the many multi-coloured bulbs in full bloom!

The Keukenhof Gardens are only a short hop from beautiful, old Amsterdam, so how about we combine this amazing experience with a three-night stay in an atmospheric tree-lined canal-side hotel in the heart of the city to enjoy a true touch of Dutch hospitality?

We can also wander the cobbled streets lined with historic gabled houses, sip on a coffee in a ‘brown café, cruise on a canal, visit the famous flower market, the fantastic Van Gogh Museum and feast on a real Rijsttafel and with free time too, to indulge ourselves in whatever takes our fancy.

TUESDAY 5th APRIL

Take Eurostar from London St. Pancras to Amsterdam
Departing at 1247 arriving in Amsterdam 1611.

On arrival at their Station Centraal we will take a tram to our hotel – Hotel Prinsen where we will stay for 3 nights in single rooms on a bed and continental breakfast basis.

Having checked into the hotel we will have an early evening guided walking tour of this fascinating city to give us our bearings.

WEDNESDAY 6th APRIL
Full day at Keukenhof Gardens.
After breakfast we will make our way to the Ria Station where we will take a bus to Keukenhof to visit the gardens together and then take a canal cruise to give us a different dimension of the tulips fields.
We will return to the hotel early evening for an evening at leisure.

THURSDAY 7th APRIL
After breakfast we will enjoy a canal cruise through the city (these beautiful 17th century meandering waterways are awarded with World Heritage status).
We will then wander through the historic centre towards the flower market to find lunch before visiting the Van Gogh Museum in the afternoon.
We will feast on a risjttafel (an Indonesian meze style meal) together in the evening.

FRIDAY 8th APRIL
A morning at leisure before returning to the station for the Eurostar to London St. Pancras departing Amsterdam at 1347 arriving St. Pancras at 1700.

A non-refundable deposit of £150.00 will be requested on RSVP
as this is a popular time of year and reservations must be made immediately.
