This is a region I know very well and, with the assistance of my Spanish friend (who lives there!), we have put together a fantastic tour to experience and explore this exciting region – to include guided tours discovering the towns of: Cadiz, Jerez, Sanlucar de Barrameda & Puerto de Santa Maria, visiting a famous Sherry Bodega, enjoying a tapas tour, a Flamenco show with dinner and seeing the beautiful performing pure-bred horses in full action.

Based in a small two-star hotel in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Puerto de Santa Maria we will be transferred, transported and guided around this fascinating ‘Sherry Triangle’ steeped in the history and cultural traditions of Andalusia.

Monday 5th September:

Arrival and transfer to hotel.

Time for lunch and a siesta.

Afternoon visit to an organic winery.

An evening Tapas Tour in Puerto de Santa María

Tuesday 6th September:

Visit and guided tour of Cadiz

Wednesday 7th September

Visit and tour of Jerez de la Frontera

Visit to Bodegas Tio Pepe visit.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant.

Visit to the La Yeguada horse show.

Thursday 8th September

Leisurely morning in the town.

Afternoon/evening in Cadiz for a Flamenco show and dinner.

Friday 9th September

Visit and guided tour to Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon visit to Chipiona and Rota before transferring to the airport.

Cost is £895.00 per person

This price includes: 4 x nights B&B with single occupancy in an en-suite room in a centrally located two-star hotel, two lunches, two evening meals, transport & transfers, all guided visits, tours and the services of Lits, an expert tour guide & 45Not Grumpy leader.

Not included: Flights and travel insurance
