Embark on a 5-day journey to the picturesque Riviera Romagnola in Italy and the autonomous Republic of San Marino. Enjoy a guided tour of Rimini's historical part, relax on the sandy beaches, and take a day trip to San Marino. Indulge in a cooking class of typical Romagna dishes and explore the charming town of Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna. Gery, your local host has lived in Italy for over twelve years and has studied and lived in Rimini for two years. She can’t wait to show you the area both as a local person and as a tourism professional.

We will discover Rimini: а thriving sea resort on the Italian Adriatic Riviera, famous for its wide sandy beaches, excellent food, and very friendly people. Moreover, Rimini’s charming historic centre will take you through ancient Roman monuments, Renaissance squares and architecture, and churches full of treasures and works of art.

We will explore San Marino, a small, landlocked republic, situated on the slopes of Mount Titano, on the Adriatic side of central Italy and surrounded on all sides by it. It is one of the smallest independent states in Europe and the oldest surviving sovereign state in the world, having been founded in 301 AD. Furthermore, San Marino is a territory full of charm because of its ancient history of freedom and cultural places of interest, such as castles, monuments, and museums.

We will also indulge in Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna, which rises on a little hill behind Rimini and is one of the most suggestive hamlets in Romagna, typical for its climbs and descents, stairs, and inset houses.

And since we are in Emilia-Romagna, a region famous all over the world for its culinary tradition, we cannot but indulge in a special hands-on food experience in which you will have the opportunity to meet a local housewife who will reveal with us the recipes and secrets of the traditional Romagna cuisine and teach us step by step how to create the perfect fresh handmade pasta according to tradition. We will then enjoy all together the handmade tagliatelle with meat sauce (The most renowned dish of the Emilia-Romagna cuisine), accompanied by local wines and pleasant conversation. (There will be a vegetarian option for those who do not eat meat).
