Day 1 - Friday 28th June
Train to Penzance with Alan
Linda will meet us at the station and it is a short walk to the hotel overlooking the sea
Unpack, relax, have a cuppa
Stroll locally to get our bearings…
Supper together in a local pub.
Golowan Festival Fireworks late evening if you wish to stay up late!
Day 2 - Saturday 29th June
Breakfast
Enjoy a few hours of the Golowan Festival with Linda
Stroll away from the Festival to a pretty restaurant for a late lunch
Afternoon visit to another stunning cove and then go back to the hotel.
Supper together in a local pub
Day 3 - Sunday 30th June
Breakfast
Linda will take us to some stunning areas nearby and take in a variety depending on weather from the Tremenheere Gardens, St Ives beaches, Cape Cornwall and surrounds.
Day 4 - Monday 1st July
Alan will take us on a walk
Walk along the sea towards Marazion - about 3 miles
Enjoy the beautiful views towards St. Michaels’s Mount
For those who do not wish to walk back, there are buses.
Late afternoon free to relax or enjoy a treatment with Linda
Day 5 - Tuesday 2nd July
Breakfast
Linda will meet us at the hotel and we will go off for another day out to see stunning coves, gardens and the unique landscapes Cornwall has to offer.
When we get back to the hotel, Linda will engage us in something interesting and special - a creative writing workshop.
Evening Meal in the hotel together
Day 6 - Wednesday 3rd July
After breakfast, we will make our way to the station for our journey back to London

FREE TIME:
Linda Cleary is a much travelled writer, literary consultant and holistic practitioner living in
Cornwall. She has extensive professional experience of working with both individuals and
groups and ran writing holidays in Egypt for several years. As a long time resident of
Penzance, she is able to offer local knowledge for the walks and sightseeing tours of your
holiday.
On one of the days of the holiday Linda will also lead a creative writing workshop, drawing
on the experiences of our visits, and looking at using imagery, metaphor and other
techniques to help write place and describing location, characters, and more. No previous
writing experience is needed to take part.
For a pamper or a soothe during your stay – Linda is also on hand to offer Reflexology or
Ayurvedic Facial treatment as an opt in addition. More details upon request.
