Day 1 Wednesday 21st August
Fly to Salzburg.
Pick up from Salzburg airport by Alan and Maria
Transport to Salzburg accommodation in the centre of Salzburg near Mirabell Palace
Afternoon in Salzburg centre with Maria and Alan
Evening lights in the city as the Salzburg Festival is on and so very colourful...

22nd Thursday August
Morning stroll along the river through the centre of Salzburg
Transfer, with beautiful scenery to the ‘Home chalet in the mountains” near Lessach
Time to unpack, look around before dinner
23rd august - Friday
After breakfast, we will go on a wander…and have lunch out.
Local Festival with Austrian music and dancing...
We’ll return back to the House for tea and home-made cake.
Afternoon stroll round the quaint village....before our evening 3 course supper (with wine) together
24th August- Saturday
Transfer in the minibus through beautiful countryside to the cablecar to go up the mountain for a walk with stunning views
Lunch in a local ‘hut’
Return home in time for supper together
25th August Sunday
Transfer to another area for a beautiful valley stroll and visit to the local Farmer’s Market, local festivities, traditional music and fayre
Lunch out....
Return home for supper together.
26th August - Monday
We will go to Tamsweg, a small town for local feel of an Austrian town with its castle, church and delicious cake shops!

Afternoon visit to a famous church

27th August - Tuesday
Free to enjoy more of the area…transfers available for anyone who wishes to go swimming in one of the fabulous outdoor pool complexes. Such a hoot to swim surrounded by mountains.
Or walk/stroll in the valley or mountains, sight-see or choose from the many other options available...

28th August - Wednesday
Transfer to beautiful valley and lake for stroll
Chair lift up to the top with gorgeous views
Lunch out in local Alpine hut
Afternoon local Festival event with lots of music and drinking!
3 course Supper together back in the Chalet
