The World's Richest Square Mile - walk with Blue Badge guide Laurence Laurence Summers

Details

A rich area with a cornucopia of riches! It's nearly 2000 years ago since the Romans came along and developed what we now call the Square Mile and it's become one of the most popular visitor attractions in the world, full of iconic buildings such as St Pauls, the Bank of England and the Monument - ok so that's not exactly a building but you know what i mean! Want to see where the Great Fire of London started? Want to see where some of Harry Potter was filmed? Want to see London's first coffee shop? Want to see the remains of the Roman Amphitheatre was finally discovered? Then come with me and i'll satisfy those wants!

Meet 11-11.15 Monument tube station, Fish Street Hill entrance. There are cafes nearby with toilets. At the end we can grab a snack and drink somewhere for those who wish to continue socialising.

Guided walk £10 - payable on the day
