Paul's Wednesday walk. Greenford to South Kenton hosted by Paul

Come and join me on stage 9 of the capital ring from Greenford to South Kenton { Distance 5.5 miles}

This stage is the most difficult and hilliest of the capital ring, but the views are magnificent to see, If you walk slow or have a knee problem, or a problem walking up steep hills this walk is not for you.

We will meet at Greenford Station { Central Line only} at 10.45am, at 11am we will make our way to Mcdonalds for coffee,

11.30 am we will start our walk, which will take us along the grand union canal, then afterwards we will climb to the summit of Horsenden Hill

Afterwards we will go through Horsenden Wood and to The Ballot Box pub for lunch { as image above} or you can bring your own.

After lunch we make our way to Sudbury Hill and onto Harrow on the Hill {where there are amazing views} and past Harrow School and across the schools playing fields to have coffee at The Northwick Park Golf Centre.

After coffee, we will walk single file along the Ducker Path, which runs between Northwick Park Hospital and Northwick Park Golf Course.

From where there is a short walk to the Windermere Pub at South Kenton Station. South Kenton is on the Bakerloo Line, and the Overground to Euston Station and Watford Junction.

COV'D 19 regulations will apply so please bring along a mask, and hand sanitiser with you.

Please advise me at least 24 hrs before if you cannot come, so some one else can take your place.
