Directions : Turn left from station exit. Short walk, then up a few steps.
Costa is on your left.
Time: 10.45 am.

Join me for a relaxing riverside walk along one of the most attractive stretches of the Thames Path, with its sweeping stunning views. We will pass grand historical houses, visit the free Orleans Art Exhibition housed in the stunning Octagon Room, stop for lunch at a riverside pub, before seeing the amazing York House and Sculpture Gardens.

The Route.
After refreshments near Richmond Station, we will walk over Richmond Bridge while admiring its elegant Georgian Facades (1776). Following the river we will soon reach the stunning Marble Hill House (1729) built by King George 11 for his mistress Henrietta Howard. Continuing on to Orleans House Gallery (1737) we will stop to view the free art exhibitions and museum, before taking lunch at the White Swan 17th Century river side Inn.

Following lunch we will commence to the magnificent York House (1630)
and gardens which has Greek Mythological Sea Nymph Statues and friendly squirrels!

The final section of this walk will take us into historically charming, Twickenham Old Town and onto Eel Pie Island. We will end our walk at Twickenham Station.

Information.
From Twickenham Station Trains go to Richmond, Kingston, Wimbledon, Clapham Junction and Waterloo.
There are numerous buses to many destinations.
