Greenwich to South Norwood Country Park walking along the Waterlink Way

We will meet in the The Gate Clock Pub at 10.30 am {Wetherspoons} for a hot drink.

{The Gate Clock is next to Cutty Sark DLR}

11.00 am we will walk to Creek Bridge in Greenwich, and start following the Waterlink way.

For lunch we can use the Sainsburys Cafe or bring our own.

After lunch we will make our way to South Norwood Country Park, where the walk ends.

We then can go for a well deserved drink in the elm tree pub which is less than 10 minutes away or go to Elmers End Rail and Tram Station which is less then 5 minutes away.

It is recommended that you wear boots as we will be walking along river paths, that can get muddy.  If you walk slow or have a knee problem this walk is not for you.

{The walk is between 7-8 miles}

Please note,

£5 meetup fee payable on arrival.

We will be following COV'D 19 procedures, so please ensure you have a mask and hand gel with you, and if you are feeling unwell do not turn up.
Social distancing will be on this walk.
