Otford to Eynsford, via Shoreham.

Come with me and Karen on an enjoyable and picturesque walk, through the Kent Countryside at times following the River Darenth {walking distance 6-7 miles approx}.

This walk will be along the road and river and woodland paths.

We will meet in The Bull Otford at 11 am {as image above} to get to the Bull at Otford turn left and walk down the hill to the village, the pub is on the left}

After our hot drink at 11.30 am we will make our way to Shoreham.

At Shoreham we will have lunch in the Kings Arms which needs to be booked {please advise if you want lunch}, or you could bring your own.

After lunch we will walk to Eynsford via Lullingstone Castle and have another drink at The Plough at Eynsford , with Eynsford Station being 10 minutes away.

It is recommended that you get the 9.44 or 10.14 am Thameslink from Blackfriars, or the 9.58 or 10.28 am, from Denmark Hill, or 10.23 or 10.53 am, from Bromley South Stations.

Or get a train from Victoria to St Mary Cray and pick up the same train as above at 10.31 or 11.01 am.

Most people should be on either of these trains.

For those with over 60's passes and Oyster Cards you will need to buy an additional ticket from Swanley to Otford Return cost £5.30.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow, this walk is not for you.

We will be following COV'D 19 procedures, so please ensure you have a mask and hand gel with you, and if you are feeling unwell do not turn up.
