Greenhithe to Dartford walking along the Thames Path & River Darenth

Come along with me on an an interesting and picturesque walk where you could see lots of wildlife, along a new part of the Thames Path starting in Greenhithe, walking under the QE2 bridge {as image above} then picking up the start of the River Darenth and finishing in Dartford.

Walking distance 7 miles approx.

We will meet in the cafe in Asda at Greenhithe at 11.am as {map below shows } for a hot drink, at 11.20 am we will leave and start our walk, following the Thames path and the River Darenth path to a pub or cafe in Dartford for a latest lunch.

Please Note:

It would be advisable to wear good walking footwear, as although there are no hills to climb at times you are close to the river.

You will need to buy a single ticket from Dartford to Greenhithe as zone 6 ends at Dartford.

Going there are lots of trains that run to Greenhithe, you just need to go on a Gravesend train,

Returning there are lots of trains that run from Dartford to London Bridge, Waterloo East, Charing Cross and Victoria stations.

COV'D 19 regulations will apply so please bring along a mask, and hand sanitiser with you.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is not for you.
£5 meet up fee payable on arrival.
