Shepperton to Hampton Court exploring the Thames Path {walking dist 6.5 miles}

For those that are doing nothing on the Queens Jubilee, come with with me, on a lovely walk exploring the Thames from Walton Bridge to Hampton Court Bridge and seeing some amazing sights.

We will meet outside Shepperton Station at 11.45am { you will need to buy a rail ticket from Hampton Rail Station which is in zone 6 to Shepperton Rail Station, cost £3.80 if you have a 60's or freedom pass or oyster card, or £2.50 if you have a senior rail card}

{Trains are running to Shepperton Rail Station from Waterloo Station, and Hampton Court Rail Station back to Waterloo Station].

From Shepperton Railway Station we will walk through Shepperton Village to The Red Lion Pub for a hot drink.

After our hot drink we will walk to Walton Bridge where we will begin our walk along The River Thames.

We will see Sunbury Weir {featured photo} and lots of boat houses and wildlife along the route.

Our walk will end at Hampton Court Bridge where we will stop for a drink and something to eat, or you can bring your own.

With Hampton Court Station {zone 6} being a few minutes walk away.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is not for you.

Time will be allowed to take photographs and it is advised to wear

walking boots as parts of the tow path, can get muddy.

We will be following COV'D 19 procedures, so please ensure you have a mask and hand gel with you, and if you are feeling unwell do not turn up.
Social distancing will be on this walk.

If you sign up and do not turn up, without informing me, do not sign up for any more of my walks, as you will be taken off.
