Wandle 3, Wandle Park to Morden Station

Join me and Keith on a picturesque walk along the River Wandle from it's source in Croydon to Morden Hall.

Walking distance 7 miles.

We will meet in Caffè Nero close to East Croydon Station at 10.45 am for a hot drink. {to use the loo here, you need your till receipt, which will have the code to the loo on it, or use the toilets on the platforms at East Croydon Station}.

We will leave promptly at 11.15 am and take a short tram journey to Wandle Park, where our walk will begin.

We will walk to the beautiful Waddon Ponds, one of the sources of the river Wandle, and follow the path along the river. This will take us through the lovely Beddington Park {as image above} and into Carshalton Park, where we will stop for a packed lunch and can use the loos and cafe in the Leisure Centre.

After our packed lunch we continue along the Wandle trail, passing Carshalton Ponds, Poulter Park then going through Ravensbury Park and Morden Hall Park, arriving at Morden Hall, where the walk will end at the cafe. From here it is a short walk to Morden Underground Station {Northern Line}.

£5 meet up fee on arrival, please have the right change.
