Dartford to Eynsford following the River Darent Trail.

Come with me and Karen on a lovely walk from Dartford Station to Eynsford Station , following the River Darent, through part of the spectacular Darenth Valley. walking distance 7 miles approx.

We will meet at Dartford Station by the ticket barriers at 10.45 am leaving at 11 am sharpe to go for a hot drink.

After our hot drink, we will begin our walk, walking through parkland, crossing fields, along country roads, and following river paths, where there is plenty of wildlife to see.

Lunch will be at The Red Lion in Farningham {please advise if you want lunch} or bring your own, this will be near the end of the walk.

With Eynsford Station being just over 1 mile away.

£5 meet up fee on arrival {please have the right change}.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow, this walk is not for you.

Trains to Dartford Station, are very regular, and you can pick them up at Victoria, Charing Cross, Waterloo East, London Bridge & Cannon Street Stations.

Return:

Eynsford trains are Thameslink and go to Peckham Rye, Denmark Hill & Blackfriars Stations.

To get to Victoria you change at Bromley South.

You will need to purchase a single rail ticket from Eynsford Station to Swanley Station, cost £2.20 with senior railcard, £3.30 without.

COV'D 19 regulations will apply so please bring along a mask, and hand sanitiser with you.
