Mayfair historical highlights

This is a new walk for 2019.

We will be looking at the district of Mayfair and its history from the 18th Century. We will discover a haunted house, London's oldest trees, the place where the tuxedo was created, the location of the first ever long distance phone call, an infamous Lord's gambling den and much more.

So please join me for this fun and friendly day.

11.00 - 11.30 Meet at Costa Coffee, 1 Curzon St
11.30 - 13.15 Walk through Mayfair
13.15 Lunch together at a pub (venue tbc)
15.00 ish finish

How to find us

Costa is about 3 mins from Green Park tube. Exit tube (non park side), turn right, walk along Piccadilly and turn right into Bolton St - Costa is at end of street (next to Crussh). When you enter Costa look out for the red Meetup sign.
