Explore Woodberry Wetlands and Walk the New River Path

Explore Woodberry Wetlands and Walk the New River Path

Come and explore the wonderful Wetlands opened by Sir David Attenborough and walk the New River Path, which by the way is neither new nor a river, but is a water supply aqueduct completed in 1613!

We will have coffee at Woodberry Downs, a pit stop/sandwich in Clissold Park we will finish the walk in Islington, possibly with a drink, or meal, in the Angel opposite Angel station before returning home, or going out, out!

This is 3.5 miles according to Google along the roads rather than following the river and without a wander around the actual Wetlands and park so add another mile or so to this.

11-11:15 meet up at Manor House station please ring me if you are running late 07943958964

11:15 walk the short distance to Woodberry Down Wetlands where will have a coffee before exploring then setting off to walk the first part of the New River Path to Clissold Park for lunch.

2:00 after lunch and visiting the deer and birds, we will continue to, and along, the New River Path ending in Islington for a drink before your journey home.

Please remember to change your RSVP if you find you cannot come on the day that way we will not all be standing and waiting for you to arrive!

Contact me if you are running late and I can give you directions to the cafe.
