Discovering historic Bloomsbury
This is a new walk for 2019.
Bloomsbury is well known for its museums, educational institutions and intellectuals. We will be looking at its rich history and discovering some fascinating buildings, artefacts and people.
Highlights will include: the first pedestrian shopping street, four queens and a Victorian hotel, an 18th Century horse hospital, extinct animals, the world’s oldest garment of clothing and much more.
Please join me for this fun and friendly day.
