Tower Gateway to Waterloo via Wapping

Tower Gateway to Waterloo via Wapping

We will meet at Goodman Fields pub {wetherspoons} at 10.30 am for breakfast or 10.45 am for a hot drink, leaving at aproximately 11am.

(Tower Gateway or Tower Hill closest tube/DLR).

We will then walk through St Katherine Dock {as image above}, along Wapping High St, taking in the sights and the history.

I will have a local guide with me, who will talk a little about the history of Wapping, the marine police, who pre dated the Met, the Cable St riots, amongst other tales.

We will walk along the North side of the river Thames and then cross over to the South Bank, at St Paul's, where we will find the historic and charming Roupell Street, tucked away on the South side of the Thames.

This is where the walk will end (outside an amazing cake shop on the corner of Roupell St) .

We will be right outside Waterloo station. for anyone who wants to have a drink at the end of the walk, is welcome.

This walk is around 4 miles.

But you could suggest get a sandwich in St Katherines Dock or bring your own. at the start of our walk, there will be plenty of eateries at the end.
£5 meet fee required please have the right amount.
