Belmont to Wallington via Oaks Park.

Come with me and Keith on this exciting new walk from Belmont to Wallington via Oaks Park which is becoming very popular.

We will walking through parks and following woodland paths, and going through some fields.

Walking distance 6 miles.

We will meet at the Cafeina Cafe {as map below} near Belmont Station at 11 am for a hot drink.

At 11.20 am we will begin our walk which will take us across Banstead Common, and through woodland into the Oaks Park {as image above}, and the Oaks Park Cafe where there are toilets and this will also be our lunch stop.

From there we then go across some fields and along country footpaths through farmland and pastures, passing Woodside Park Golf Club and through Little Woodcote Wood and then picking up the Wandle Link path, which takes us to Wallington station where our walk ends.

With the Whispering Moon pub is next to the station, which has half hourly services to London Bridge and Victoria.

Total walking distance was about 6 miles.

Please note:

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is not for you.

Some of the footpaths can get quite muddy, so please wear the correct footwear.

COV'D 19 regulations will apply so please bring along a mask, and hand sanitiser with you.
