Greenwich to South Norwood Country Park walking along the Waterlink Way
Come with me on an enjoyable walk, following the Waterliink way from Greenwich to South Norwood Country Park.
We will meet in The Gate Clock Pub which is next to Cutty Sark DLR station at 10..30am for coffee at approx. 11 am we walk to Creek Bridge in Greenwich, and start following the waterlink way.
We will stop for lunch en route at Sainsbury's in Lower Sydenham or use Mcdonald's, or eat our sandwiches.
After lunch we will make our way to South Norwood Country Park and end up at a pub near Elmers End Station. where you can pick up a tram to East Croydon or a train to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Waterloo East or Charing Cross Stations.
It is recommended that you wear boots as we will be walking along river paths, that can get muddy. .
If you walk slow or have a knee problem this walk is not for you, distance is approx 7-8 miles.
