Dickens around Christmas time is always a must and here we will mix a Yuletide story or two or even three , with better and lesser known novels and meet a whole host of his characters, whilst wandering round some of the most beautiful and atmospheric streets in London.

We will slide down an alleyway and take a look at one of his favourite drinking holes, meet the body-snatcher who had a respectable job in the daytime, see where his best friend lived, have a look at a very curious old shop, learn about the life he hated and almost entered into and discover what he almost became before turning his hand to writing.#
