The Wonders of Cannizaro

As this meet up seems so popular, we will doing this again, you are invited to join us on a lovely walk exploring Cannizaro House and gardens, on Saturday 28th September

We will meet inside the Wibbas Down Inn {Wetherspoons} at 11am for a hot drink where there will be a meet up sign , between 11.30 and 11.45am we will make our way past Wimbledon Station and then up Wimbledon Hill to the village then onto Cannizaro.

After exploring the beautiful grounds we will stop for refreshments at Hotel du vin and then back down the hill to Weatherspoons where we will have lunch and drinks.

The walking distance is about 4/5 miles and iis slightly uphill... but a bus can be taken as an alternative up to the village. The rest is flat and across the common to Cannizora.

This should be a very enjoyable day in Wimbledon. The charge is £5 and will be led by myself and Jane Jacob.
