Harefield West to Moor Park Stage 13 of the London Loop

Come and join me on an enjoyable walk {4.7 miles} walking along some of Hertfordshires high rolling countryside, we will be walking along grass paths and tracks and will have 10 stiles to negotiate.

If you have a knee problem, or walk slow this walk is definitely not for you.

We will meet in The Good Yarn {Wetherspoons} at 11 am, for a hot drink and at 11.30 am leave to pick up the U9 bus to Harefield West.

After getting off the bus we will make our way to where Stage 13 of the London Loop begins.

This is an enjoyable walk, with some lovely views to see, and after 3.7 miles we will have lunch at Ye Olde Greene Man pub.

After lunch we will walk the last mile to Moor Park station which is on the Metropolitan Line where there are plenty of trains running through the station, there are also toilets on platform 4 where we will pick up our train.

Please wear walking boots as some of the tracks can get quite muddy and slippery.

If it has been raining this meet up will be cancelled, as it would be to dangerous to do this walk. but I will offer an alternative and you will be notified a few days in advance of any changes.
