Meet 11-11.15 outside the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand - nearest tube Temple. Large Pret across the street with loos.
Hidden behind and among London's City area are clusters of beautiful buildings which make up the law courts. We will take look at the history and architecture of those buildings and introduce an array of colourful characters who have been associated with it - you may be surprised!
The likes of Dickens, Shakespeare, Francis Bacon and even Harry potter get a look in here........
Please note that i am not now (nor have i ever been) a lawyer and so history of the legal system itself and any jargon attached will be limited
We will finish around 1300-13.30 for a drink/snack for those who wish to continue socialising.
