Picturesque Walk Wimbledon to Richmond via Isabella Plantation

Join me and Christine for this 8-9 mile walk.

This is becoming one of my popular walks, and if you have not been on it, I recommend you do if you can.

We will meet at Wimbledon Elys Caffe Nero {as map below} at 10.30 am for a hot drink.

Leaving there at 11.00 am we will head up Wimbledon Hill through Wimbledon Village and on through Cannizaro Park across Wimbledon Common where we will have lunch {sausage sandwich recommended} and a loo stop at the Windmill Cafe (or you can bring a packed lunch if you prefer).

After lunch we will head for Richmond Park where there is a steep climb to walk through the historic Isabella Plantation where the heather will be in bloom.

To complete our walk we will stop at Pembroke Lodge for a well earned cup of tea and on down to Richmond via Richmond Hill with some amazing views of the river.

Our final stop will be at the Pitcher and Piano at Richmond riverside for a final drink. {they do great cocktails here} with Richmond Station being a 10 minute walk away.
