Feisty Fitzrovia and its Bohemians walking tour with Blue Badge guide Laurence

Meet 11-11.15 outside Goodge Street tube station - lots of cafes nearby
£12 payable on the day
Once the playpen of the wealthy, then a Bohemian artists area and today a wonderful mix of a bit of everything, Fitzrovia has maintained its special edgy, off-the-beaten track appeal and is probably the most underrated area of central London. It's also got a lot of pubs!
And where there are pubs you will find aristocrats, writers, painters, musicians and even anarchists
All this plus a workhouse, a toy museum, a male brothel and a little old building called the BT Tower.
It's fascinating, architecturally diverse , absolutely delightful AND FULL OF GREAT PUBS!
Please note that at traffic lights i will always wait for the green man signal- if there is one -and that at other crossings and on the streets generally attendees need to be vigilant.
