Maidenhead to Marlowe via Greenway and Thames River Walk.

Come with me on an enjoyable walk from Maidenhead to Marlowe, via The Green way to the pretty village of Cookham, and then to Marlowe walking along the River Thames.

We will meet at Costa's for a hot drink outside the main entrance of Maidenhead Station between 11- 11.15 am.

{Toilets are through the waiting room on platform 4}

After our hot drink we will follow the Green Way walking to the pretty village of Cookham, where we will have lunch in The Kings Head {this needs to be booked, please let me know if you want lunch} or you can bring your own.

After lunch we will make our way from Cookham and walk along The River Thames to Marlowe, admiring the large houses across the other side of the river.

Our walk will end at The Donkey Pub which is near Marlowe Station.

There will be many opportunities to take photos on this lovely walk of some of Berkshires Countryside. The walk is 10 miles, but you can finish at Bourne End which is 5.5 miles.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is not for you, but you could get a return trip to Cookham from Maidenhead, if you wanted to meet us there.

Elizabeth Line to Maidenhead, { ! will picking up the 10.12 am from Tottenham Court Road}

You will need to buy a single ticket from Marlowe to Maidenhead cost £4.15 with a senior rail card, without a senior rail card £6.30.

Which we buy when we meet. if you decide you just want to end at Bourne End or just do a Cookham return, fare prices will vary.

If has been raining or is raining this walk will be amended to another date, as for this walk is reliant on a dry day.
