Coastal Walk, Whitstable to Herne Bay.

This is a new walk.

Come with me on an enjoyable coastal walk from Whitstable to Herne Bay.

We will meet at Whitstable Station at !1.00 am, and go for a hot drink at the sea front, after our hot drink, we will walk. to the coastal path that goes to Herne Bay.

When we arrive in Herne Bay we will go to The Hampton Inn, https://www.hamptoninnhernebay.co.uk/
for lunch or bring our own.

For those that want lunch this needs to be booked , {please advise if you want lunch.

After lunch we will go to Herne Bay Pier, and then a local pub for our final drink.

After our drink will walk to Herne Bay Station which is 10-15 minutes away.
{Walking distance is 6-7 miles.

Time will be given to take photographs.

Meet up fee will be £7, {please have the right change}

If you have a knee problem or walk slow, this walk is not for you.

Travelling

Outward. You can get the 9.43 am train from Victoria or 9.57 am train from Bromley South., and if you have a senior rail card you can purchase a London Terminals to Herne Bay return for £21. 15
but there are other tickets you can purchase.

Return

Trains to Bromley South and then Victoria at 17 minutes past the hr.
